On June 22, 2020 the NorthernGrid Cost Allocation Task Force approved PowerBridge's qualification status in the NorthernGrid 2020-2021 planning cycle.  PowerBridge is proposing to construct the Cascade Renewable Transmission System Project. This Project is an 80-mile, 1,100 MW transfer capacity +/- 440 KV HVDC underground cable (95% installed underwater) interconnecting with the grid through two +/- 1100 MW AC/DC converter stations interconnecting with the AC grid at Big Eddy and Troutdale substation.  There is no proposed generation resource associated with the transmission line.
